The rules for Mini (U6-U8) and Mod (U9-U12) football are different to those of the International sides (U13-A-Grade), an all of those laws are different to the laws of the NRL Telstra Premiership. What you see on TV is not necessarily what happens on game day in junior football. In 2015 there have been some rule changes for the Mod competition as well so please familiarise yourself with the changes by checking out the relevant document below. Please note that Under 12s teams play by the Mod rules but on an International-sized field.
You can view the PlayNRL site for more Laws of the Game, National Codes, Policies and Guidelines.
As we come into the start of the season we would like to remind all our fellow members returning and new of our social media policy.. Anyone to be found in breach of this policy will be asked to appear before the executive committee.
At Emu Plains JRLFC we field teams from Under 6s through to A-Grade.
